Crafting beautiful, unique wooden items to complement any home.
At Burnette Woodworking, we believe that woodworking is an art form rooted in tradition and craftsmanship. We take great pride in every piece we create, using only the highest quality materials and techniques to ensure that each item is both beautiful and functional. Our goal is to create pieces that can be passed down through generations, bringing joy and beauty to homes for years to come.
We are committed to using only the finest materials in our woodworking projects. We work primarily with domestic hard woods and a variety of sustainably sourced exotics, carefully selecting each piece for its unique beauty and character. We also use food-safe finishes so you can be assured that any piece that comes into contact with food is safe for you and your family.

Hand wash your cutting board in hot, soapy water. Wipe off excess water and allow to air dry. Do not soak or submerge wooden items in water,
and never place in a dish washer. To sanitize, wash the board with a solution of one part vinegar to five parts water. Remove odors by rubbing
the board with kosher salt and half a lemon. Let sit for two to three minutes, then wipe with a damp cloth. Remove excess moisture with a clean paper towel and stand the board on end to air dry. Store in a dry area away from extreme temperatures.
Our boards are treated with either 100% tung oil, or a blend of food-grade mineral oil and bees wax, for a resilient, long-lasting finish.
Repeated cleanings may eventually cause the finish to deteriorate and dry out. The finish may be restored by applying additional coats of
tung oil, walnut oil, or other food safe oil suitable for cutting boards.
